Greetings, blogosphere!

Hello, World! … and all that.

This is the first post on my brand new blog. I’ve started this blog, primarily, to assist in my final assessment for my AA100 Open University Course, The Arts Past and Present.  The assessment involves a reflective exercise detailing where you’ve come from in your course and where you’ve ended up.

I also hope, if I can keep up with the posting, to maintain a bit of a diary regarding what’s going on in my life, as there seems to be so much at the moment.

For instance, today, in a mo, I’m off to have lunch with my mother. As a Jehovah’s Witness, she’s not supposed to celebrate her birthday, but today is her birthday and she’s invited us for lunch out. Coincidence? Who knows.  I also have a CV to complete and three possible jobs to apply for.  There is also the small matter of two ETMAs to complete by next Friday for my AA100 course.  I also need to start my A175 course, which commenced last weekend but I haven’t started it yet.  I have an appointment at the Job Centre next Monday to see the Disability Advisor, which clashes with my appointment to see the Weight Management nurse at the Health Centre.  On Saturday, Henry takes his first Holy Communion, on Monday I start a two-week back-to-work program with Remploy, as well as going on holiday for the week with the family to Looe Bay.  And on top of all that, I’ve finally had a response from DDRC regarding an out-of-court settlement offer in my unfair dismissal case.  Of £250.

So not much going on, then. Ho hum.
